Ski Addiction's warranty is setup with the customer in mind. Your work for the warranty will be next to nothing! You will have a resolution within 48 hours and you will never have to speak to a robot. Quick, easy and painless.
Step 1: Evaluate the validity of your warranty claim.
-Was your product purchased within the last 12 months?
-Does the damage to your product appear to be due to manufacture defect?
-Was the damage caused by abuse, neglect or improper use?-
-Was it purchased from Ski Addiction or from a re-seller of Ski Addiction products?
Step 2: Submit your warranty claim to Ski Addiction. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your warranty claim. Please include how the damage occurred, when the damage occurred and an attached picture or video evidence of the damaged product. Please remember to include all your contact details such as first and last name, email address, contact phone number, address and order number.
*If the damage is not clear from your video or photo evidence, you will have to ship your products to Ski Addiction located in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada for inspection. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges to and from Ski Addiction regarding warranty issues.*
Ski Addiction warrants its products to be free of manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase, following the below guidelines. Ski Addiction's only responsibility is to replace or provide additional discounts to be used toward replacement products. Ski Addiction will not be responsible for any costs, losses, injuries or damages incurred as a result of loss or use of any of our products.
Warranty only applies to Ski Addiction products purchased from www.skiaddiction.com, Ski Addiction HQ or amazon.
Ski Addiction will provide the following outcomes depending on the result of your warranty claim.
0-12 Months: Replacement Ski Addiction product.
12+ Months: Discounted Ski Addiction products.
We do not provide a warranty on products from resellers or ex-demo products. Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase required. Ski Addiction is not responsible for products throughout the shipping process, from your door to ours. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following; Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect.
Damage cause by improperly mounting either the Ski Addiction Training Board Bindings or any other snowboard binding. Damage caused by improper Ski Addiction mounting hardware. Normal wear and tear relevant to your length of ownership. Damage caused from anything other than defects in material or workmanship. Damage caused by use or solvents, adhesives or LOC-TITE.
Tips: Evaluate your own claim. If you were Ski Addiction, would you warranty it? We recommend insuring your package. No one likes losing their package. If you bought your product on eBay, it's not covered under warranty. B2B / Bulk Order Warranty Details
Ski Addiction warrants all products to be free of manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase. Warranty does not cover impact damage, misuse, and general ware and tear. If your product falls under warranty, we will replace your product free of charge. We will only warranty 1 replacement product per order. Photo evidence and possibly video evidence is required to determine whether your product qualifies for warranty. International shipping can be expensive. We are investigating adding more shipping warehouses. Training Products will be shipped from the closest/cheapest warehouse when stock is available.
Your tracking number will be automatically emailed to you when the order is shipped. This is generally between 1 to 3 days after you have placed your order.
Black Friday/ Cyber Monday/ Christmas/ New Years: Due to the increased volume of orders, please allow for a couple of extra business days on top of the expected delivery date to receive your order. Your order will still ship out with the shipping method you selected at checkout, however our warehouses and courier companies are inundated at this time.
USA & UK: You will usually received your order in around 2 to 10 business days. Please note, during peak times of the year, such as Black Friday/Christmas, there can be a delays especially if you choose the FREE shipping option or cheapest option. Express post will take priority and be delivered sooner than free postage.
International: Shipping usually takes around 1-2 weeks depending on your country, however some countries are slow and may take longer. This is out of our control unfortunately. International express shipping is always faster than the cheap option but does not guarantee delivery within a certain number of days for international shipments.Multiple Items In Your Order
Our products are individually boxed and shipped separately due to their size. Therefore, different items in your order may arrive on separate days. Please allow a few days to account for this. We unfortunately have no control over items not arriving together, but hang in there, your items will arrive.
If your first item has arrived and you still don't have all your items after two weeks, please contact our team and we will help you out and ensure you get everything you purchased.
There are no customs fees or duties for USA and the UK (including most of Europe), as we have warehouses in these countries and have already paid the customs and taxes to get the products into these countries. Your country may charge customs fees or take additional time to process your items through customs. We do our best to avoid any delays or additional customs fees, however, we unfortunately have no control over these delays or additional fees. Most countries do not incur any issues at customs and are delivered smoothly. Unfortunately, if your country does charge you additional fees or delay the delivery, this is out of our control. Any additional taxes or fees are your responsibility.
If you want to know how much customs will charge you or why there is a delay in processing your order through customs, you will need to call the customs office in your country.
Out Of Stock
If you choose purchase an item that is out of stock, we will send you a follow up email with options for your order.
Option #1 Wait until the product is back in stock - If you choose to hold your order and wait for the out of stock item to go back into inventory and ship your order complete, this does not reserve any products that you have ordered. If you go with this option, you run the risk of other items in your order going out of stock.
Option #2 Ship you the products available now at no extra charge to you - If you choose this option we will release the available items in your order at no extra charge to you. Once the product is back in stock, your order will ship. This helps ensure that your entire order is received once we're back in stock.
New Zealand Customers
NZ Customs: Unfortunately due to NZ customs laws: "Any shipment coming into New Zealand valued over $399 will be held". Therefore, if you are a NZ customer and wish to purchase multiple items, please place each order separately (or make sure you keep your order total under $399) so that you can glide through customs without any issues.
Shipping will not be any different if you place your order together or separately, as the items are shipped according to weight. If you are a NZ customer and have ordered over $399 worth of products in one order, please contact NZ Customs at 0800 736 348 (+option 1), or you can email NZ Customs’ at email@example.com. We can no longer ship orders to private addresses in Russia. They keep getting sent back to our warehouse after reaching customs. All Russian orders must be shipped to commercial addresses (that we know of - we’ve tested this and it worked). For more information, please reach out to us.
Bulk orders world wide are excluded from free shipping. Due to the fact that the products are being shipped in bulk, shipping costs stay relatively low.

The Ski Addiction return policy applies to brand new products only. If your product has been removed from its original packaging, is not in the same condition as you received it, or it has been used, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Additionally, our return policy lasts 30 days from purchase and proof of purchase is required. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Ski Addiction Sticker Pack
Once your return is received and inspected by our warehouse staff as "Good Inventory", we will notify you of the approval and of your refund. Our warehouse staff have the authority for the inspection process, their decision is final. If the product is accepted as "Bad" you will be refunded only 50% of the cost of the product (minus shipping). If you are approved, your refund (minus shipping) will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow up to 10 days after the refund is issued, to see the money refunded.
Please Note - The decision on whether the product is in “Good” or “Bad” condition is made by the warehouse staff of our third party order fulfillment company. If the warehouse staff have decided the product is in “Bad” condition and you have not sent through photos showing the condition of the package being returned, the decision is final and you will not receive a full refund. By returning your products you are agreeing to the Return terms and the decision cannot be appealed.
Rather than receive a refund, you may be able to exchange your product for a Ski Addiction product of equal or lesser value. This is dependant on whether your products are received at Ski Addition as "Good" or as "Bad". If your product is accepted as "Good", you will be able to exchange it. If the product is accepted as "Bad" you will not be eligible for an exchange and will be refunded only 50% of the cost of the product (minus shipping).

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please ship the products back using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. You are responsible for a successful delivery to our warehouse.

We are based in Whistler, Canada, so we prefer to sponsor riders in our area so they can help us produce our tutorials. If you are not moving to Whistler any time soon, we'd still educate sponsorship with you, but we would need constant posts on social media and publicizing of our products helping you train for skiing. Basically, like any sponsor, we need to see what we get out of the relationship if we are going to be hooking you up with gear or pay.
Before submitting your application, please consider whether or not you fit with our brand. If you're entering racing competitions and have never ridden park or tried a butter, do you really fit with us? If not, perhaps consider another brand that you better relate to.

Times have changed in the world of skiing. Long gone are the days where pictures and PDF's will be acceptable as promotional material. Almost the only way to get sponsored in this day and age is by making edits, so you’re going to have to as well. This could mean making edits on your home mountain, hitting the rails at your old elementary school, or venturing out into the backcountry to make a sick pow edit.
Whatever you choose to do, the footage of yourself is ultimately going to be the meat that gets you sponsored. If you don't have a camera, make friends with someone who has a camera. Quality doesn't just come from editing, you need quality material too.
Understand that getting sponsored is a two-way street. No company is going to swag you out just for living your life; this isn’t the Kardashians. You need to be valuable to the company. Your value is going to be in the form of publicity.
Once you get your first few clips in a video, then you have some leveraging power to talk with companies and they finally have a reason to hook you up. Better yet, if you can prove to a company that you have a fan base online, they're going to be way more likely to sponsor you. Your social media, Instagram; Facebook; Twitter; etc. can also be great avenues to tell the world who you are and what you are about, which will help you develop your brand.
