Taking Your Misty's From Tramp To Snow
Do you find that you're able to stomp your Misty flips on the trampoline but are struggling to transition this from Tramp to Snow? Misty 540's are a trick which are pretty easy to dial in on the trampoline but very tough to land these on snow. This is because both the take-off and landings are on an angle on snow, whereas the take-off is flat on the tramp.

What's The Difference?
The key difference between stomping your Misty's on the Tramp Skis and on the snow comes down to how you take off and hold your rotation. On the trampoline, your flip will take-off and land on a level plane whereas on the snow, you will most likely be taking off and landing on an angle.

How Do I Bridge The Gap?
To help bring together your tramp training and desire to throw down through the park, there are a few things that you can do once you have dialled in your tramp Misty's.
The first technique you'll need to adopt is getting used to kicking your feet back and behind you on take-off, in order to generate some extra flip.
Kick Back Your Feet To Generate Extra Rotation
The second change to your body position is to focus on keeping your arm tall and high. Be patient and extend your body fully while spotting the landing out in front of you. Rather than trying to land to your feet right away, begin by trying to land this in a back drop on the trampoline until you are more comfortable.
For Snow Misty's, Extend Your Body Fully
Through making these two changes, the speed of your flip will be slowed down which means your grab will also come later in the trick. Through waiting a little longer for the grab, you'll be able to better maintain your flip rotation allowing you to land at the right angle.
On The Snow, Your Grab Will Come A Little Later
